Every year in April the world “lights up blue”. Let’s increase awareness about autism.
According to a 2021 CDC report. One in 54 children had been diagnosed with autism by age 8 in 2016, compared to 1 in 150 in 2000. Starting the beginning of April, the world joins together to “light it up blue.” Thousands of iconic landmarks and buildings join the hundreds of thousands of homes and communities around the world to “light blue” in support of people living with autism. You can put blue lights outside your home or just wear blue in support.
